Does God get the glory?

Of course He does. Pat . That's the answer.

John the Baptist was the man who prepared the way for Jesus. He said that One was coming after him whose sandals he was unworthy to untie. It was the One whom he baptized and the heavens opened and a voice said, This is My Beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.

Later on in his life, this same John sent his disciples to ask if Jesus was truly the Messiah. He was in prison during this time. Imagine his confusion and despair to have changed so much where he now asks if Jesus is the True Messiah. The One he came to show to the world -- is the same one whom he is now in doubt of.

Doesn't this remind us of our own weakness? When in despair, at work or otherwise -- we doubt our own Saviour. We doubt the One who gives us everything we need.

But God knows our hearts. And He recieves glory in our weaknes and time of trial. In our pain, when we turn to Him and confess that we doubt or are weak, He desires to help us.

Our God is glorified when He can lift us up from our despair. He is pleased when we turn to Him in our weakness.

Turn to Him. No matter what. Work or otherwise. He receives the glory.
